Starting to sound like there really isn't any sense in doing the pistons. Currently running 20psi with the cast pistons so what would forged get me. Reason for running lean at full boost would be so at normal idle or normal driving I don't have a brown cloud behind me because I have the 30lb injectors to compensate for 25+ psi of boost. Having the oem injectors in would restrict fuel usage and leaning out the mix at full boost. But gas mileage would still be gr8 and if there forged might as well rep the benefits.
I did a little searching on the net and found the oem cast pistons tend to start melting up around 25psi.
Kind of bothering me here that the motor wouldn't have a ridge and the Indy I was speaking with didn't know that... (or did he)..Kinda puts the hole thing in perspective.
