As mentioned, the yoke is different. As for pads, there have been so many different pad specs across the years, that going back to original Saab lit is almost useless. For a while there, Saab was selling two different friction materials. You used one on the piston side of the rotor, and the other material on the outboard side. Phenomenal braking, as the inner pads would act quickly, and the braking got better the more you stood on the pedal as the outers heated up. Their only downside was you went through them at a 2:1 ratio inners to outers!
I can't recall any difference in pad thickness between ventilated and non. Saab widened the slot in the yoke to accommodate the thicker rotor, so a thinner pad was not needed.
