Finding/Confirming Master Cylinder Leak

900 turbo 16v; I spent the afternoon interrogating why my pedal is extremely soft and why my MC fluid is disappearing. I bled 3/4 calipers (the fourth bleeder valve twisted off on the rear). I bled the brake lines at the MC. I looked into the vacuum hose from the brake booster to engine intake (I was not impressed by any obvious brake fluid) By the way I have white smoke coming from exhaust as well (either brake fluid or coolant). Any thoughts? I think I will replace the master cylinder.....where is the brake fluid going if there is a leak at the MC. Could I be missing a leak somewhere else? (brake lines appear okay) Thanks.
