Front springs out, after some persuasion...... Even with 4 coils compressed almost solid, it's still a tight squeeze, with the UCA spacers removed and the arm sitting down on the pass though hole in the chassis. Drivers side worse, but pass. side (LH drive) would almost remove by hand. These were factory Turbo springs, so -20mm OAL.
Drivers side UCA bushings were intact....still tight and preloaded.
Pass. side UCA bushings were blown out....no rubber torsional resistance whatsoever...free to rotate. Front bushing was chunked out, so radial direction looseness exists at the forward pillow block/bushing.
New upper and lower bushings will be installed....best available "Korean" rubber from eEuro. Certainly better than what was there. Good advice on replacing these bushings whilst the powertrain was out!
