Ah. Well I am thinking of bypassing the fuel accumulator as it seems like it definitely has some rust in it and it appears these are not easy to replace.
I checked the fuel pump and it is working fine (apparently). I changed the fuel filter ( of course - it was exactly where you said it should be) but may put the accumulator back on for now as fuel is passing through it. I think if it does not start back up, it must be the fuel delivery system. I read on one of these posts how they can get gummed up. Any thoughts on pulling that apart and cleaning it.
