Not to jump in line here, but we just did this on an ancient 900. Turn the nut on the bolt out about 1/2 - 1 turn. Find a socket that rests against the nut, but is large enough for the bolt threads to fit within. The length of the socket has to be just about the same as the space between the nut and the adjacent structure.
Then, use an open end wrench and rotate the nut until it contacts the socket, and keep going -- if the bolt head turns just hold it with another wrench. Then turn the bolt head or the nut so it is loosening the joint, and it will force out the bolt. It is amazing the amount of mechanical advantage you get when doing that. Some lube on the nut threads is helpful. Good luck and I already felt this pain, and then it went away when the bolt just migrated out.
