While prepping for a smog check, I noticed some exhaust leakage at the manifold to turbo, turbo end cap, turbo outlet elbow and down pipe connections. Re-torquing the bolts did not really help much. Experience has taught me that exhaust leaks in these areas contribute to high NOX readings, especially at low RPM so I want them fixed. I disassembled everything, cleaned and reassembled with Hi Temp Orange gasket compound and it all was leak free but after running it at temp under boost for a while, the leakage is back at several locations. Anyone know of a better goop than the Orange stuff?
