PaulD, I regularly take my 90SPG cross country and have had no major problems. Sure take your c900 up there, carry some spares but be prepared to leave the car up there if it broke down and parts are not available locally. And they won't be. Or you could end up with a FrankenSaab. I met a gal in Baja who broke down in the middle of the peninsula who waited for almost a month in a podunk dusty town for suspension parts and she drove an American car. The big part of driving a classic long distance is not knowing whether you're going to get there and back with out breaking down. Do you feel lucky?
