Your straight dreaming, even with all the bolts removed from the tranny that connects it to the motor it has a beveled edge that slips up and behind the flywheel and the front of the tran's is pinched from the torque converter and fly wheel making it next to impossible to push the tranny backwards to get the beveled edge out from behind the flywheel. Quite a Pain in the A** its a chore I'm glad I did once but never again. If you plan on separating the tran's from the motor may the force be with you!! A lot of beers and curse words eventually get the two apart
