it's less the SUPPORT for OBD1 and more does the CAR supply any information. The c900 only had about three items that you could pull. and for the most part the tester/readers could reset the check engine light and not much else. in the early 9000s OBD1 was supplied with much more information. and in 1994 with OBD2 it became very nice. My Tech 2 and I know this. :)
