Had a high idle when the engine is cold for months. Might have had it this summer but if I did it was only a few hundred rpms high and it didn't register as a problem. When it got cooler in the fall I started to notice it idling 1500-1800 when cold but as it gotten colder the cold idle has gotten higher. The car starts right up in the morning. The idle goes to 2300 right away. Drops off progressively as it warms up. Finally when it's fully warmed up it settles down to 850. Car runs fine
and because it idles OK when hot I don't think I have a vacuum leak. Just passed the Calif smog test with out any problem. Has a new temp sensor. I've switched in known good AMM, ECU, and AIC without any change. Checked the morning cold resistance of the temp sensor and it's the same as my nicely running 90T
