1988 900T convertible.
It had been a good car for the past eight years, but was having electrical issues the past few weeks. Turn the key and sometimes the starter wouldn't engage. Last night it went so far as to kill a new battery, but I jumped it and it ran fine. I parked it after work tonight in front of the garage. About an hour later there was a knock at the door, so I went out to find the engine bay in flames. I also saw evidence of mice living in the engine bay last night, so I removed their bedding and scattered dryer sheets under the hood. It's quite possible they feasted on some wiring, or the rebuild starter I put in a few months ago had a melt down.
