The car was in front of the garage and could have started the house on fire, also burning my '73 99 to the ground. That would have made me sick. It also could have started on fire while I was driving, and who knows what could have happened then. I had a brief glimpse of the damage while the firemen were still here, and it amazes me every piece of plastic under the hood was pretty much gone. I'll have to get some more pictures when daylight hits.
I didn't sleep much last night - was considering what my options are with the car, and if it's worth it to pull the trans. It didn't get into the cabin, so the burgundy leather might still be salvageable.
I also have a '86 900T behind it in the drive that I've been scavenging for parts. I might have to scrap that one and clean out the driveway.
