Is the short thin pin installed in line with the lock cylinder that faces downward inside the shifter box?
I'm somewhat with Jimmy in that if you don't fully engage reverse, then the key won't turn that last 10 degrees or so.
My question is why keep the reverse lockout? And the lockout I'm referring to is the shifter being able to move if the key is in any position.
