where the heck do you find the wire ID's on connectors like this one?!? I went through this back in the fall after ripping out my interior without using my camera first (ha! oops!)... the big connectors have pin numbers, sometimes an ID of some sort, but usually enough wires of different colours to identify from the diagrams in the bentley... but there are usually numerous single wire connectors like this that are completely unlabelled from what I could see. It was a bit of a guessing game to say the least! I got most of it right. May have an issue with the parking brake wiring, but was too lazy to rip that back out.
The other thing I find difficult is where the Bentley is not electronic and not searchable electronically, it is hard/slow to go from wire or connector to circuit... it is great going the other way: something wrong with circuit A, look up circuit A for model year X and trace connector numbers, wire colours etc... but just finding a single black wire leading from nowhere (well, maybe a huge bundle of black wires) with an unlabelled spade connector, it is really hard to go through 100 pages of circuits looking for black wires that might match up!
Zig: how the heck do you do this efficiently? I design, build, and test circuits, so I'm used to tracing electronics, but imho the c900 wiring can be a bit of a rats nest... sometimes I wish I could just put all this crap on a giant car-sized pcb!
