I watched a youtube video of someone replacing the inner tie rod and realized the seal was way behind it. The pictures on the eeuroparts site make it look like there's a large rubber plug at the inside end.
Looks like I use some Lucas sealer to to hold off the inevitable for a few months (if I'm lucky). I've got oter projects I'd rather address in the short term.
