There are a couple of possibilities. The injector has rubber grommet surrounding it that can leak, but generally not fuel -- it is to seal the air from getting into the manifold.
Most likely is the plastic line, which is like glass at this point in it's life. Only #3 is still available from new stock ( and that could be depleted )
Which one is leaking? ( #1 is by the firewall ) I have two or three sets of various lines, and a complete set of new injectors we are not using as converted to Porsche injectors and made new Cohline braided injector lines.
By the way, you can't just use any material to construct the fuel lines. They have a 2mm wall thickness to prevent pressure surge expansion and won't work if you just use brake line or the like. I spent months working on these solutions, and found all the hardware, and methods.....it is a real trick to build up a line, and don't let anyone fool you on that.....
SO -- USE CAUTION when taking the line nut off the injector. Take off the bracket between the injectors, and hold the injector hex while gently backing the nut on the line off. Don't twist it or the fitting will break off.
If you want to send me a PM over the board or go through my photo gallery, there is a link to get an email to me. I saved this stuff when building the racecar, when I saw how delicate it was, and knew somebody was going to need it.
