But, the Perf board has been pretty dead lately. I think the boosters must have gone to other cars like Subaru or ?
Just to calibrate a gauge is more money than what you quoted the cost of the gauge. The thing you need to see is if is capable of vacuum as well - I've put a check valve inline so when I would go on a boost run and didn't want to look at the gauge, but instead hang on for dear life, the gauge would be "stuck" at the max it traveled so I could see the boost spike or limit.
I'd suggest go with as big a face as you can install easily and call it good. If the gauge was calibrated, it should come with paperwork, but my guess would be there won't be paperwork with it. Consider it a reference point rather than an exact number you're trying to measure.
