Strange clutch hydraulic issue, bad master? Posted by Ilovemountains [Email] (#1318) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Ilovemountains) on Tue, 24 Jun 2014 17:32:17 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
What would cause my clutch to feel like it needs bled one minute, then be back to normal the next? Could the master be going bad? The entire clutch system was replaced 2 years ago, I bled it a couple weeks ago with my new pressure bleeder and its been great but this happens every couple days. This morning the clutch was engaging right off the carpet, after a half hour and a few shifts it was fine again, hasn’t lost a drop of fluid and the bleeder valve is tight. Could the internal spring in the master be too weak to allow the piston to reset all the way back?
