Rear caliper R&R, master cylinder rebuild

So after some time being busy I've carved-out some time and $'s that have been lacking and thus left my 93 900S FrankenSaab parked while I drove the SUV (painful). The immediate problem is a sticking passenger side brake caliper, and I have a replacement on the way from a site sponsor, should be here mid-week. However, in the course of inspecting the car for other needed repair parts, noticed a peculiar stain on the carpet along the firewall and just to the left of the clutch pedal.
I can think of only two sources: heater valve or clutch master cylinder and I'm leaning towards the latter. It's not a drenching leak at all, and the fluid levels are both fine so there's no diagnostic value in that. There's also no obvious shifting or heating issues, so the "problem" has no particular urgency that needs attention.
HOWEVER, given that I'm going to be changing the rear caliper and will have to bleed the hydraulic system anyway, is this a no-brainer circumstance in which I could fix two problems and bleed only once, or are those circuits so far removed that I could replace the caliper and deal with the MC later, assuming that it actually becomes a problem?
