Every c900t we have owned (7) has had exhaust leaks in the turbo mating faces, elbow and downpipe connections. You can easily test for leaks by pressurizing the system with a reversed shop vac at the tailpipe and spraying everything with soapy water in a squirt bottle. If your are in an emissions-controlled location, do not even try to get a smog test without first fixing them as the leaks will suck air on the low-speed test ruining your numbers. The cure is to dis-assemble the joints, thoroughly clean them, replace any gaskets, and seal with high temp exhaust putty (not silicone based gunk.) Since you will be removing the elbow, it is also a good time to replace the O2 sensor. Also a good time to replace studs and nuts that are suspect. Assuming you can get all the connections apart, figure on about 2-4 hours to do this job.
