Not sure what is meant by the " high" spot.....would that be the upper most point or top part of the housing? This whole cooling situation has become a real puzzler. After a highway trip I get a lot of heat from the heater so the coolant is circulating there....the top rad hose is hot .....the the lower one isn't and the rad itself dosnt seem particularly hot!....the block seems really hot..I drained the rad,disconnected the hoses and pored water thru the rad thinking that possibly the New rad was plugged!!!!but the water flowed thru..... temp gauge stays a little below halfway but I don't think it's working properly because it did spike once to the top but the majority of the time it stays at below halfway so I changed out the temp sensor in the T-stat housing.
The Pass side fan Never comes on.??(AC has been removed).... Fuses and relays are functioning. Screw driver test on thermo switch makes the fan run?
