I replace everything myself just to zero time it all....so, I believe me I understand. I thought the original poster was trying to save some dough, but this is an area of penny wise, pound foolish.....just replacing the input shaft seal isn't bad, and if the slave has to come out, then I go for the full meal deal if it's never been done by my hands, just so I know what's in there....I usually find some odd thing that was done like put the wrong clutch plate in, or ?
