It only takes a tiny short circuit to ruin a good project . I have done it many times, try to fix something ,and end up making it worse !!! STOP. Review. Analyze ...Find the error . Usually it is a Grounding wire or post that is not tight , or it is something that I "reconnected" incorrectly .
The tricky thing about electronic work is the fact that there is no visible way of telling if things are "hooked" up right . And they just ain't teachin' kids about fault tracing or logic circuit fault tracing in schools these days . Good Luck , you can reach success !!
