EGR Removal Question Posted by Haskell60 [Email] (#1511) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Haskell60) on Sun, 4 Jan 2015 13:00:54 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
So I have finally decided to remove my EGR system, and have ordered the parts I need. I would say I am a beginner at mechanical tasks. I've changed a fuel pump in my old 86 900, and the clutch master cylinder in my current car (1990 SPG in a clean 1992 Body). I'm wary of tackling exhaust work because of the rusted and tight bolts. Is removing the EGR pipe from the manifolds possible with my open end wrenches and brute strength? Or should I have a professional mechanic tackle this? Thanks, and Happy New Year! Rich
