You can do it. As long as you have a wrench big enough to take off the EGR pipe connected to the exhaust manifold. You'll need to remove the pipe which is connected to both the exhaust mani and underneath the intake mani and plug both holes. Then swap out the ECU for one that ends in either 585 or 948. Then remove the vacuum lines and plug their holes. Pretty simple. I have a spare delete kit with all the parts that I could sell you if you need it.
