on audiogon, ebay, etc. Not cheap, but a good value used if you are into music (keep in mind you could buy a c900 parts car for the same dough). They don't make them exactly like that anymore, and that one was just the basic Naim CD player... Actually, what they are most famous for are amplifiers (famously paired with Linn turntables back in the '70's), especially the Naim Nait (their basic little integrated amp). Julian Vereker, the founder, was a fanatic (he passed away a decade or so ago), and so everything was done very meticulously. If he felt something was better, who cared if it was non-standard? It was better so they did it. The new stuff is still good and still different - just looks a little more flashy and now they also have the inferior RCA jacks that everything else uses (they still have DINs as well, and the ability to add on external power supplies etc). I suspect the RCAs have improved sales even if it is somewhat wrong philosophically for them.
