I'll say it could be extra holes in the body where the lower, black, trim strip attaches.You'll have to get in the trunk with a flashlight and look up right above the rain gutter and locate the points of the sheet metal screws that hold the strip. They should be covered with putty or something to seal the screw entry holes and look closely for any other old, unused holes in the same vicinity of the screws that were not re-used at the time of top replacement. Installers sometimes forget to use the same, old holes and just drill new ones. The unsealed old holes WILL leak. Also the tail light sealing rubbers.
