Exhaust banned from cabin, finally. Ridiculously simple

So a lightbulb popped on in my head about what to try to make SURE the gasses were coming in through the ventilation system, and not through holes in the floor etc (although these comments and pictures make me want to get my carpet out ASAP to see what the heck is going on down there!).
I had attempted to make sure that the big rubber collar that is attached tot he hood and that seals against the plastic climate box was indeed sealing, and I thought that it was. It occurred to me, just tape that whole climate box off with some duct tape and drive my car, see what happens...seal the system entirely from that opening.
And no more gasses coming into my car! Now, I still want to figure out how to make that rubber collar seal perfectly so I don't have this problem and so I can get proper airflow going through my climate control system (especially in summer when lots of water will condense in the evaporator etc), but at least i KNOW where it's coming in now, and how I can easily address it.
I am still going to get back in there with my Wurth exhaust paste and try and get that turbo fully sealed, also. Thanks folks for all your input, again.
