Yeah, they're a bear to get off the elbow. I've never been able to remove one w/o damaging it.
FWIW, you can use a generic 3-wire O2 sensor instead of the official C900 O2 sensor and splice the wires. All Bosch O2 sensors are the same except for the wires. O2 sensors for Fords seem to be the most cost effective. I got a connector to match the connector on the Ford sensor and spliced that into the old wires from the SAAB sensor.
