Good video. Was there as much carbon on the on intake valves when you put the head on?
From the amount of movement of the valve head when you rocked the valve, I'd bet that there's too much wear in the valve guide. Bentley's procedure for checking valve guide wear is to lift the valve 3 mm and rick the valve head. If there's more than 1/2 mm of play (measured with a dial gauge), the guide has too much wear.
