So, the power antenna itself is grounded to the frame and the red wire is power from the battery. When power is applied to the green wire, the antenna goes up. When power is removed (radio switched off, ignition switches off) antenna goes down; the antenna should always be getting juice from the red wire.
Take a voltmeter and check if I'm getting 12V from the red lead to the frame all the time? And then check if I'm getting 12V from the green lead to the frame when the radio is on?
What to do if there is nothing?
