Thank you for your thoughts. I too have had problems in the past with the AC pulley.Presently the AC is not on the engine so that I can more easily access the timing chain tensioner. The alternator is good with the proper torque on the locating pivot and belt. I also renewed the alternator "arm" bushing-the arm which comes off the back of the engine and helps maintain the alternator's position. As I recall, the power steering pump's bolts have been re-torqued as well as all the belt tensioner bolts and associated block fasteners. That would include the motor mounts. I am at a loss here.
