I was going to ask if you found they stick out, but I took a look in your gallery. From the looks of it, they don't stick out as much, but I think that is just the difference between SPG flares and the fender trim on the other cars.
Is this one the 205/45's:

I'm not really going for 16" for the width so much as for a little less sidewall. One of the downsides to the 9-5 (225/45-17) for me is though the road feel is good, it is harder to get tires that stick in the wet, whereas the c900 just blasts right through water. I guess the other factor in going to 16" rims vs 15" is an increased selection in moderate performance tire options, as that is a problem for the narrower smaller tire sizes nowadays (now that every econobox runs on 17" rims). Most c900 stock sizes are now pretty basic touring tire models.
