here's the deal I bought this trans off of E... in early 2009 It arrived palletized and shrink wrapped. I stored it inside and now 6 years later I have decided to sell everything. So I had this buyer out west that was interested, so I sent him the trans #. He reported the same thing you did it was from a 1988 non turbo. Sad thing is the trans was listed on E... as having been picked from a 93 vert that had been re-ended and the seller from FL was allegedly a Saab master Tech for 32 years. Now its conceivable that the trans was a transplant, but you'd think a master Tech would have noticed the trans #. Now its opinion time is a trans from a non turbo better than one that has been pushed by a turbo? Is the reputation of the trans from the 1988 the same , better or worse than the 93 trans?
