Thanks for nailing the running rich problem with my new project. You may recall I posted that my car was running super rich, fouling the plugs and spitting water/gunk out the pipe. Your first thought was the AMM. I swapped it out three times with my other cars' AMM before I decided to let it idle for a significant amount of time to let the ECU "get acquainted" It cleared up and now my plugs are swiss coffee clean. Thanks!
New problem: The car will not idle until it warms up. It starts right up hits 1500 rpms then slowly wanders down and dies. Repeat for five or six times before it idles nicely. I checked the resistance across the AIC valve pins, only one was slightly off. Any seat of the pants guesses?
Side note: I was able to adjust the resistance on pins 3 & 6 to 360 ohms on my old AMM. I'm going to try the old AMM again as an experiment.
Thanks a bunch.
