Yep, that is the sort of thing I am trying to get to. The issue I already know I am going to have is space, but I am hoping to integrate some combination of multifunction gauges, like Koso makes for motorcycles!
The other detail I forgot about here is fuel level - IIRC the c900 uses some goofy resistances on their sender that makes replacement difficult, but if all goes well I can switch over to the 9000-style pump integrated sender that uses slightly more common ones. That also eliminates another c900 weak spot - irreplaceable fuel level senders! :)
I am hoping to figure out the 9000 VSS gear ratio first, then get some sort of oscilloscope to double check my work. But, worst case, I am pretty sure I can reasonably rely on just the scope and GPS since I *know* the pulse rates... without the ratios I can't bench test, but I can still road test. ;)
