I've found the slave bubbles come right out. I usually still have residual air in the master. The guys at the local dealer told me to pump the pedal 50-100 times after bleeding. Not too fast and only halfway down. You'll feel the pedal come up as the air works it's way up the feed hose and into the reservoir. If you're really curious have a 2nd person pump the pedal and you can see the small bubbles rising into the reservoir. When done there should be pedal resistance right at the top.
