$400 for the kit, and the postings link has costs of under $1500 to install. So including the car (which is only 10 miles away), maybe $3K total top end cost. Hmmmm

The owner's son gave me permission to call the Mechanics and ask about the car. I use these same Mechanics for service on my three Saabs that I can't D-I-Y, so they may be willing to answer my questions.
