The cable sheath just plugs in at each end. Female connection at the motor end, male at the other. The cable that slides inside has a square drive on the end which plugs into a socket at the motor end. The cable will stay up in the seat back. Just slide the sheath off it.
Be sure that you turn the cables to square up the back before you reconnect them at the motor end, or it will be perpetually askew. Just chuck it in a drill.
