You should maybe do some search & read on this, I think? Isn't the '88 one of the ones that didn't have TIP on the Cruise Stalk - and don't you have to wire something up differently than the newer ('89 & newer) ones. Seems like something special must be done with wiring - or when you engage Cruise the car simply accelerates continuously? I could be way off, but I don't think so. Vern
