and all of that testing ended at the 25 year mark. Although during my annual safety inspection, the mechanic commented on my 3-inch racing cat (which is relatively tiny). I joked with hm, telling him that I was an environmental consultant (which is true) and that if i'd have wanted to cheat, I'd have gotten something larger and simply knocked all of its innards out. Told him the car the car runs like a sewing machine and would pass a smog test with or without a cat. Motorhead to motorhead, we agreed to never discuss it again.
