I own #64 so I am of course going to be a bit biased on wether it's worth it or not as far as saving the car. The key things to look at on any CE purchase is wether the following items are still with the car...
Gold ID plaque with the car # on it.
Redbox APC and correct 010 distributor still in the car. (The correct FPR is still available new.)
Wood dash still in the car.
Correct wheels still affixed.
If any of these items are gone then the price drops....especially with the plaque missing. That being said, if you have the VIN number or the CE car number, go to the Saab CE site....Saabce.com and then to the registry. Scroll down on the 93's to see if you can match the VIN or series #. Hopefully more information is listed.
They are great driving cars but can also be a money pit if you start trying to make it perfect...
