1979-1993 & 94 Conv [Subscribe to Daily Digest] |
Thanks guys.
Annoyingly the car started and ran OK this morning.
What was notable was that the engine did not fire at all for the first 6 or 7 seconds of cranking and then started right up totally normally.
I'm thinking the fuel pump cooled down and ran and the delay was the system priming and getting to pressure.
What would you guys do? Obviously I do not want the car stopping somewhere dangerous.
The pump looks pretty easy and cheap (unlike on my 9-3SS!) and for sure is the 1993 original.
