I agree with Jersey Saab that's it sounds like the pump. 145K would be a reasonable failure mileage. There have been posts in the past about an alternate BMW check valve solution. There is a banjo bolt for BMW that has an integral check valve. I bought one but it's sitting on the shelf. It just replaces one of the filter banjo bolts.Sounds a lot easier than fighting with the plastic fuel line. Sorry I don't have a part number or link.
