1985 non-Turbo standard, base 8V car. Had intermittent starting problems; replaced coil. New coil felt very hot to the touch so .... another new coil. Does not run hot, just warm. Replaced ignition module (outside of the inside engine bay wall on driver's side. Car would start and run for awhile; sometimes it cut out after a time, sometimes I turned it off after 25 or 30 minutes. When it did run, it purred as it did when new..... nothing rattling, banging, no missing, sounded great. Now not starting again. Have only very minor multi-meter but it shows there is power reaching the plus side of coil. But when I pull a plug wire, put a new plug securely into it, ground the plug base (the part with the screw threads) to the battery using a jumper cable, I do not see a flash of the spark jumping. (I am working alone so cannot do the test by holding it to the block.) I'd really like to get this sorted and welcome all help. Thanks.
