2 c900's in local bone yard Posted by Snowmobile [Email] (#686) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Snowmobile) on Tue, 3 Dec 2019 12:07:15 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
If anyone is in the Ottawa-Gatineau area... there are 2 c900's - an 86 and 1n 87 in the local kenny u-pull. The 87 must be an American car because it has DOT headlights. also has a 9000 interior... The 86 looks to have old-style ecodes and I would have pulled them to pass on to folks here south of the border, but the reflectors were kind of tarnished. That might be repairable but I didn't want to take the risk... they sell the headlights cheap, but with shipping it probably isn't worth it...
In principle I could go back to pull parts from these cars if there was something someone from out of town specifically wanted, but I don't need more myself right now. It's a shame to see good parts go to the crusher but they most likely will by the end of the month. I was there mainly to pull parts for my 9-5's, as there was a 2005 in great condition. Still lots of parts on that car that will probably get crushed within the week... but I already got more than I needed. I tried to encourage them to hold on to these rare cars a little longer (they are used to processing heaps of scrapped kias and domestics)...
We also have a euro-specific pick-n-pull full of SAABs but they hold on to the cars much longer until there is hardly anything worth taking (and actually they keep all the best cars in a separate lot where they pull the parts). Prices are higher though...
