I was wondering what the shift pin tool is for. Is that for the tapered pin in the shift shaft ? If it is I just use a 3" 'C' clamp. I drill a hole in the non adjustable end of the clamp. Size the hole just big enough so the large end of the pin can go into it. Then tighten the clamp on the loosened pin nut. Tap if needed.
