The "low fuel light" is amber not red. It indicates 2.5 gallons or 10 liters left in the 16.6
gal. tank. Check the Owners manual! So you drove around for years with a fuel leak? This is a
serious fire hazard and various other problems with leaking fuel.I too had a fuel leak at
the top of the tank and I addressed it immediately. The problem was a bad Fuel Pump Check
Valve (Feed) part# 32017517 which is a $5 part plus less than an hour labor to replace. If
you cannot deal with that serious problem I can just deduct that normal fluids such as
motor oil, transmission oil, coolant, brake fluid and power steering fluid were severely
neglected and you trashed the vehicle which or course you dumped at a savage yard or sold to
another moron. You had a "busted fuel gauge" what was the fix?? Or was it
neglected like everything else in the car. Please stop posting idiot messages on this
newsgroup. "Its expensive to be cheap"
