The adjusters break. The black "cups" that are screwed on the back of the headlights themselves break/split apart, the black threaded bushings that the adjusters thread into in the headlight mounting panel break, the white "pivot" that the threaded adjuster threads into breaks. I tried eeuroparts. They showed the black cups. They took my money then emailed the next day to say they don't have them and won't be getting them and will be refunding my money...but the part is still listed for sale on their website. I've searched the web eslsewhere and found nothing. I've gone thru three old headlight assemblies I had and even with hot water and a heat gun, the 30 year old plastic shattered as a tried to pry the cups off of the threaded rods. I know there was a guy on here who was "test running" some 3D printed bushings...but those are gone. One other SAAB parts place on the other side of the pond had the bushings made out of aluminum...but those are sold out with no timeline for replenishing stock. I can't just blob the epoxy on into a horrible mess that will fail as soon as I try to press the steel adjuster into that tight plastic socket. I've "Rube Goldberg'd" enough together where I'm only one black, "cup" short of completing a complete headlight assembly, but without that, I'm dead in the water. This isn't the first and won't be the last time I have a headlight just hanging there one day as a combined result of 30 year-old plastic and road vibration. What are you folks doing? Does anyone know a source? I'm an autobody tech with 10 different epoxies at my disposal, and fairly clever at fabricating...but we as a community driving lots of c900 cars, DO need a source for these parts. Any insight from anybody? Bob
